RB HEZA STRAIT DANCER
APHA 891,227
Foaled 1/20/07

Pic taken at one week old

Look at this colt, this guy is awesome.  He's out of my Own Black Tobiano  Daughter of Strait From Texas, RB Blame It On Texas and by my Black homozygous stallion, RB Dancers Legacy, you can see his pics on my auction site www.online-equine.com on the home page..  This guy has excellent conformation, big chest, muscles all over, and a natural athlete, and he's as fast as they come.  He does flying lead changes and roll backs at play, will come right up to you for attention, and will be extremely easy to train.  And, if that's not enough, he's been tested and is double Homozygous!  Homozygous for the tobiano gene and for the black gene so he's gonna produce colored babies every time and will not produce sorrels or chestnuts.  He's for sale and is listed on my auction site. Pecos' Auction.  Look at his conformation, look at his pedigree, think about owning him and standing him.  It's a win win deal for some lucky cowboy or cowgirl out there.  When this guy matures, I bet he could drag a steer across Texas!  You can view more pics of him on the auction and can place a bid once you register on the auction as a Buyer or Seller.  You can also contact me at directly at ballen6272@aol.com.

Big Welcome to "Dusty"
Riskeys Harlan Siemon
APHA 892,758
Foaled 2/7/07

"Dusty is a Buckskin Tobiano and absolutely stunning to look at.  This pic was taken at just a few days old and she's grown and filled out like a weed since this pic was taken. She was 41.5 inches at the withers at birth - that's huge for us here at R&B Paints since we're used to putting the smaller cattle event horses on the ground.  We had to assist in the delivery and I didn't think the legs were ever gonna stop coming out!  Her Dad, Jims Riskey Poco, is an Own son of the Legend Maker, Ris Key Business.  If you aren't familiar with Riskey, please go to his site www.riskeybusiness.com  and view his show ring record and some of his most famous offspring like Strait From Texas and RR Riskymastrpiece, all multiple World Champions.  We call her Dad "Biscuit" and he's a beautiful "BIG" Bay/Tobiano (pictures are on the home page of the auction) and stands 16hands.  Dusty's Mom is a wonderful Palomino Tobiano, Jodys Jackpot, with outstanding breeding that includes Harlan (right on her papers), Brujo, Joe Reed II, and many other champions.  Mix her pedigree with Riskey's and she has no choice but to be an outstanding prospect.  Dusty and Pecos are buds since they were the first two born and she is as athletic as Pecos at play.  I am going to get current pics of her as soon as the weather clears.  She has the dark color around her eyes that makes her not only look like she's wearing make-up, but also very feminine...and check out that dish face. She just has it "all goin on."  Just think what an awesome addition she'd make to your farm or ranch.  Once you break her, go win big on her, or breed her for some outstanding babies. Don't forget she's  got that great buckskin coloring that everyone covets, especially for breeding purposes.  She has it all, breeding, disposition, great looks and is the REAL deal.  Don't pass her by as she's gonna make somebody really happy.  She's for sale and you can go to the auction and bid on her Dusty's auction or contact me directly at ballen6272@aol.com if you are interested.  You can see her on the auction at www.online-equine.com.

BABY, BABY, BABY
INTRODUCING "RAISIN"
Foaled 3/31/07

Ok, she's gorgeous, that's a given, but that's not all.  I'm sure this filly is homozygous - she's by a 16 hand Bay/Tobiano Own son of Ris Key Business and out of my beautiful Grullo/Tobiano  Top Moon, Triple Chick, Sugar Bars bred mare.  What else could you want??  This filly is just like Pecos, the blk/wht colt listed above - she wants to stay in your pocket.  Runs up to you for pets and rubs.   You can pick up all 4 feet and rub her all over and she just comes back for more.  Had to turn them out in the pasture so I'd have enough room to stay away from her long enough to get pictures.  She will be an outstanding addition to your performance or breeding program.  She's listed on my auction, www.online-equine.com where you can view her pedigree and see what this gal is made of.  Raisin's auction.  She has paw print markings all over so I'm just sure she's homozygous which is just another bonus for some lucky person.  You can bid on the auction or email me at ballen6272@aol.com .

Here comes "NIKE"
RB Texas Dancin Doll
    Foaled 3/3/2005

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
Congratulations to Debbie Kilgore from Texas on her purchase of this outstanding filly!
Good luck in the showring!
Nike is in training now and doing OUTSTANDING!!!

We at R&B Paints have been blessed every year with an outstanding offspring out of our Own Daughter of Strait From Texas.  2005 wasn't an exception.  This filly is nice in every way, great head, long neck, graceful movements, a natural athlete, and easy to be around.  She has the best performance breeding in the country.  Sadly, with the death of her grandsire in 2006, these Strait From Texas and Ris Key Business decendants will be at a premium.  Nike is out of my own daughter of Strait and by my homozygous black tobiano stallion, RB Dancers Legacy.  She has secondary markings in her coat pattern and I believe that she is homozygous for the tobiano gene like her sire.  She is a nice size filly and will be capable to go any direction you want her to.  Start her, show her, win on her, and the you can breed her and continue the legacy of her multiple World Champion breeding.

The last two pics show the secondary markings fairly clearly so you can judge for yourself.  Every baby we've had by my stallion out of RB Blame It On Texas, my daughter of Strait, has been homozygous.  I don't see any reason to believe that Nike is any different.  She's the real deal and she's for sale.  Get a jump on the competition and take this outstanding filly home.  She's stands for the farrier, current on wormings, and shots including West Nile and Rabies.  If interested contact Billie Allen, ballen6272@aol.com phone, 316-747-3167.

Foaled 3/20/04
RBRiskeys Strait Shot - APHA #784,169

SOLD!! SOLD!! SOLD!!
Congratulations Jean Powers
Douglass, KS
On the purchase of this outstanding filly!!

Ok, everyone, here comes "Uno" - appropriately named for her unusual shoulder spot.  I had to shave the spot and send pics into APHA and they have decided that she is an Overo.  Both parents are Blk/Wht Tobianos and Uno doesn't have any white crossing her topline, so that's how she became an Overo.  She has the shoulder spot, two white spots on her lower lip, and her tail is black and white.  No matter, tobiano, overo, tovero, she is the REAL deal.  She is a natural athlete, long neck, little head, and has terrific conformation.  She has the BEST of the BEST performance breeding in the industry.  Check out the stats on APHA online for the World Show - several events had top 10 placements and winners from Riskey descendants.  To date, I've been the only breeder who has crossed an own daughter of Strait From Texas on her grandsire Ris Key Business, with fabulous results.  Uno has two full sisters, both black and white and both homozygous for black, one in California and the other in Oklahoma.  She has one full brother who is black and white and double homozygous, for paint and for black.  He is in Mexico to be crossed on performance mares to create 'charro' horses.  Mexican version of our cattle event performance horses.

Here's another Kansas grown son of Riskey's.  His dam, Madeara, (1st pic) won all of her futurities as a weanling and then was shown again as a 2 year old and earned Halter and Western Pleasure points.  His Grandma is Triples Honey (2nd pic), sired by none other than Triples Titan.  This guy has the potential to do it all and should follow in the footsteps of his famous relatives in the performance arena.   Proud owner, Nancy Hamiltion.  You can reach her at 913-884-8263 for more information..

What an outstanding specimen!!

Pic taken Sept. 05

She has been tested and is Homozygous for the tobiano gene!!  She is as cute as they come, terrific conformation, wonderful disposition.  She is out of a really nice, sorrel/toby mare (but looks more bay to me)  - Dazzle Bid, with terrific breeding that includes By Jingo, Bang Up, Jet Dial, and Leo.  She has duns and palominos in her breeding so this filly will not only be an outstanding performance prospect, but an outstanding broodmare as well.  Proud owner Billie Allen, Douglass, KS.  I am going to breed her this year to either my homozygous stallion Ky or to Jims Riskey Poco, own son of Riskey.  Watch for her offspring - they'll be awesome!!

Meet Kota!
2003 Black/White Filly

Super proud owners of this outstanding 2003 Black and White filly are Cherokee Winds Ranch.  Featured above with her new halter is her owner Kari.  This filly is out of a a fantastic Reining sorrel quarter mare, Mayla,   and she was born Feb. 2003.  Kari was so happy with this filly that she debated a long time whether to breed Mayla back to Ris Key Business, but finally decided to show her Mom again this year in Reining.  This filly has the best of the best breeding and should make an outstanding Reining prospect in the future.  Owners say her registered name will me Lena's Night MOves ( Bob Segar song Night Moves ), and Kota is short for Lakota.  She weighed 101 pounds and our vet couldn't believe the size of her joints and bones, and all the hair!  If you are interested in more information on this outstanding filly please contact Cherokee Winds Ranch, Larkspur, CO kari.edge@edgerealestate.com - 313-681-3888.  Congrats!!

Greetings to:
RKB Star Slider
Black/Tobiano Filly
Foaled 2002

Isn't she a super looking filly.  Her Mom is also a black/white tobiano and owner has plans to have this filly tested to see if she's homozygous.  She's gentle, has that trademark Riskey blaze, and is really starting to fill out.  She is already very athletic which is also another Riskey trademark and is gonna be quite a performance prospect.  Contact Brian Raggio (316) 747-2564 for contact information on Slider's owner if interested in more information.

He's in MEXICO!!

R&B Paints are so proud to present
WACO
Black Tobiano Stud Colt
Foaled 3/25/2002

Photos at 3 weeks of age.
He's another dandy isn't he.

This guy is so incredibly cute, it's hard to put into words.  Waco is, of course, our terrific own son of Riskey. His Mom, RB Blame It On Texas (Tyler to us)  is our black tobiano daughter of Strait From Texas, Riskey's most famous son.  If you scroll on down the page, you'll see his full sister Walker and how she turned out.  He has some interesting coloration - the back of one ear is black and the back of the other ear is white...so different.  He was foaled 3/25/02 on my daughter's birthday.  Well if that wasn't special enough, we got his test results back and he has tested DOUBLE Homozygous!!  Waco is homozygous for the tobiano/paint gene and also homozygous for the black gene.  This, of course, means he will always sire colored offspring and none will be red. He is the only stud colt in the world with this fabulous breeding. Double Riskey breeding and a grandson of Strait From Texas.  What more could you possibly want.

Congratulations to Juan Martinez of Mexico on his purchase of Waco.  Juan has BIG plans for Waco and wants to raise wonderfully bred charro horses!
You can visit their website at http://www.caballospintos.com
(Soon to have all English text for us Gringos!)

NEWS FLASH!!
Waco, or Bonsai as Juan calls him, has 9 of Juan's mares in foal for 2006.

Congratulations to Pam Merritt of Woodstock, Illinois
on her purchase of this great young Riskey gelding.
She plans to ride him for pleasure, in parades, and possibly
start him on barrels!

Well, we can't be perfect every time...this guy has absolutely everything going for him except spots.  Junior is the most athletic colt I have ever seen.  He has  wonderful conformation, great head and neck, big hip, and loves to sit back and slide.  His Mom produced a "tanky" black tobiano Riskey colt for us 2 years ago that is now in training and a homozygous black tobiano colt for us last year.  .   We figured she must have gotten tired of all the flash when she gave us Junior.  She has Leo, Dual Image, Kitaman, Top Deck and Painted Jewel breeding.  Combined with Riskey's bloodline, Junior will be a fantastic prospect for anything.
