"Buddy" recently captured the 2000 NRCHA High Dessert Western Spectacular Snaffle Bit Futurity LO Championship, the 2KL Championship and placed 7th in the Open division out of a field of 102 horses that included 94 Reg AQHA entries and 8 Reg APHA entries winning over $14,000. 1999 Black Tobiano Filly, Strait Texas Win, brings $30,750 at the APHA World Showcase Sale in Ft Worth, Texas, July 2, 2000. . .WOW!! She was the second highest selling horse of the sale and is the daughter of Multiple World Champion, Strait From Texas.

"Buddy" has hit the streets with hooves ablazing. He is in training with Ron Emmons who states that he is one of the best Paint flat spinning horses that he has ever ridden! He's only been shown once and already has earnings of $2500. He will be appearing in Reno, NV for the NRCHA GMC Sierra World Champsionship Snaffle Bit Futurity in September and then on to the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City in November. Grandpa, RisKey, is very, very proud.
